A Legacy of Chemistry
From Formula Development to Field Excellence
Decades of Field Validation
For over 30 years, AquaLastic® has been deployed in harsh environments, including high-velocity and irrigation canals. Our legacy is built on field-proven security, offering a restoration vehicle that consistently outperforms standard patch and paint maintenance cycles.
Engineered for Active Infrastructure
Unlike rigid epoxies and mortars that fail with the slightest of movement, our chemistry prioritizes flexibility of the sealant. This allows the material to act as a structural bridge that moves between two separate pieces of concrete or steel, preventing active cracks from compromising the monolithic water barrier.
About the Company
AquaLastic® is based out of northern Nevada, which allows for quick response to critical water infrastructure in the western US and all of North America.
Led by Chas Weatherford, AquaLastic® remains focused on understanding each piece of infrastructures unique challenge, preparing a longstanding solution and working closely with the customer to exceed expectations. Mr. Weatherford has been involved with AquaLastic® since its beginning, with the formulation design, manufacturing and technical designs.
Technical Mobilization & Precision
Installations are built around a high performance mobilization force, which deploy certify installers and equipment to the most remote infrastructure sites. Our teams are trained to manage the complex logistics of irrigation and hydro projects, ensuring rapid application and minimal operational downtime for every asset we restore.
With a track record spanning decades, we have become a trusted partner for federal, state, and local water agencies. Our restoration results are backed by data-driven performance metrics, making us the primary technical resource for districts seeking to secure their infrastructure through long-term, cost-effective engineering solutions.
Before & After: Proven Performance
The Problem
20-year-old concrete with extensive, leaking cracks that "tried everything" with no luck.
The Result
A seamless, blue protective liner with "no new cracks or old cracks re-opening" since installation.

Technology & Manufacturing Standards
We maintain the highest industrial benchmarks through rigorous quality control and advanced chemical engineering.

ISO 9001 Standards
Our manufacturing processes adhere to ISO 9001 certification, ensuring every batch of AquaLastic® meets strict global requirements for consistency. This commitment to quality guarantees the material performs exactly as engineered under extreme conditions.

Molecular Thermal Set
We utilize a proprietary thermal fusion process that triggers an instant reaction, allowing the material to become dry to the touch within seconds. This creates a monolithic shield that is significantly more durable and reliable than traditional sealants and repair materials.

Advanced Elastomeric Chemistry
The core of our technology is a specialized formula that prioritizes molecular flexibility. By maintaining very high elastomeric properties, the liner functions as a strucural bridge that absorbs movement and thermal expansion without cracking or losing its seal.

Deep Substrate Integration
Our application process integrates the polymer into the concrete's microscopic pores, creating a bond that becomes part of the structure. This helps prevent hydraulic lift and ensures the AquaLAstic remains bond under demanding conditions.
VOCs
Zero Volatile Organic Compounds
This means no solvents evaporate into the atmosphere during application and nothing leaches into the water column after curing.
Non-Leaching Chemistry
AquaLastic® is 100% solids with zero VOCs. This ensures no solvents evaporate during application or leach into the water, keeping the surrounding environment and water column completely clean.
Aquaculture Certified
Used for decades in sensitive fish farms, raceways and hatcheries, our product is non toxic. AquaLastic® does not leach any unfriendly chemicals or particulates into the water while lining your infrastructure.
Potable Water Ready
Engineered for safety, AquaLastic® is available for potable water/NSF applications. Uncompromised water quality from origination to the end user remains a steadfast focus for the AquaLastic team.
A Catalyst for Infrastructure and Water Security
AquaLastic® approved by Bureau of Reclamation
Providing the technical evidence required for federal and state infrastructure funding.
Securing public funding through programs like the Bureau of Reclamation WaterSMART grants requires rigorous documentation of project impact.
The AquaLastic® system serves as the technical foundation for these applications by delivering verified data across three critical pillars:
Verified Water Efficiency
(The Efficiency Mandate)
The Requirement:
Applicants must quantify precise water savings to justify funding.
The Evidence:
With a reported 99% reduction in water loss, AquaLastic® allows Districts to project significant acre-feet savings per year. This high-efficiency rating is a primary driver for grant approval.
Proven Asset Longevity
(The ROI Mandate)
The Requirement:
Funding bodies prioritize "Permanent Infrastructure Improvements".
The Evidence:
Backed by 30 years of field data (including the landmark RD1004 project), our system proves long-term structural viability. We provide the "Life-Cycle Cost Analysis" data that demonstrates a superior return on investment compared to traditional patches.
Specialized Economic Impact
(The Workforce Mandate)
The Requirement:
Many grants favor projects that create high-tech, specialized local labor opportunities.
The Evidence:
AquaLastic® often creates local labor opportunities if the funding pathway requires local work force be used. While a certified installation company provides the specialized application, the project lifecycle supports local jobs in site preparation, engineering oversight, and environmental monitoring. This allows Districts to satisfy job-creation metrics while ensuring the core technology is installed by certified specialists.
Seepage Reduction
Immediate impact on water delivery efficiency.
Year Life Extension
Dramatically lowers the "Life Cycle Cost" in grant applications.
Reclamation District 1004 utilized a phased approach to verify performance before full-scale investment.
